    Brian continued working as a software product manager on TAO (Technology Asset Operation) software as their priorities shifted to being liaisons to various LOBs (lines of business) around the bank, Brian worked as the business liaison between TAO and the Wells Fargo CTO (Chief Technology Office).     Brian worked as a software product manager on the TAO (Technology Asset Operation) software team. TAO was a centralized group under the Technology COO office which managed internal software entitlements by fulfilling orders and helping to maintain software license compliance,.
    In this role, he assisted employees from around the bank to purchase new software and renew maintenance on existing assets.. He additionally has the proactive role to resolve non-compliant situations and consolidate existing contracts to achieve economies of scale and other efficiency gains.

    • Utilized scripting and automation abilities to improve the quality of financial forecast data in the software budget

He works in the areas of bare metal provisioning, server/client build automation, software installation/configuration automation, big data/NoSQL, and software asset management.

    • Utilized lean principles and refactored code to reduce processing time for automated software patching from 4 months to 2 days per year while improving quality by reducing output defects from over 5% to less than 1%

    • Managed a 6-month professional services engagement to build out a first-of-kind Hadoop cluster for Intel's manufacturing environment and wrote software to load over 2 PB of Sort/Test data into HBase datastore

    • Managed 18-month project to complete first-of-kind full software audit of over 25K factory systems representing $50M in yearly software spends
