  Consulting services for modern cloud infrastructure, site reliability, security and compliance best practices.  Performed troubleshooting and optimization of infrastructure as code using ansible, terraform, cloudformation and others.   Reviews of threat models, configuration and data pipelines for data privacy, compliance and security.  Full-stack development using javascript, golang and python.

• Principal Technical Program Manager,

  Responsible for DR strategy for non-native AWS data stores (Mongo, Netapp, and Cassandra). Drove DR strategy for S3 using Clumio and custom tooling. Created and drove the creation of a custom platform for compliance controls monitoring. Integrated workflow using Jira for control owners, compliance team and auditors. Lead TPM for incremental rollout of new platform; drove engineering timelines, feature roadmaps and user feedback. Drove creation of complementary program for management of asset attribution. Platform stacks comprised of AWS (Athena, kinesis, S3, lambda) and open source (kafka, flink).

Managed team (sized up to 10) of SRE and Devops Engineers responsible for performance and reliability of production website and services. Owned company AWS accounts including best-practices, security and cost-optimization. Created infrastructure deployment automation using ansible, terraform and cloud formation. Created and drove time-series metrics collection platform, dynamic scaling app servers using AWS Spot.

• Manager, Engineering and Technology Team,

  Moved company from single stack baremetal data center to a fully load-balanced and redundant server infrastructure. Deployed storage solutions for image archives using NFS, Netapp and ZFS. Established best practices around data security, IT procedures, and configuration management. Setup Windows AD domain and associated services. Hired and trained a team (sized up to 6) IT and Systems engineers as the company grew from 30 to 300 employees, until acquisition by Shutterfly. Performed QA, code builds, performance and function testing for LAMP stack.
