Positioned as a game-changer in early wildfire detection, this system leverages edge devices to process video feeds from watchtowers. At its core, the service continually monitors footage from cameras mounted on watchtowers. Using a trained Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), it efficiently detects wildfires from 378 different streams in real-time. Upon detection of smoke or fire patterns, the system autonomously dispatches the coordinates of the wildfire to field officers, ensuring rapid and informed responses.

  • Took charge of full-stack development, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across the system.
