Responsible for the creation, deployment and management of internal development tools and the platforms they run on.
Our team focuses on high availability of the services and platforms we manage by utilizing IaC tools like Terraform, Packer and Ansible.
To facilitate deployment of internal tooling, we leverage the full Hashistack which includes Vault, Consul and Nomad High-Availability clusters which are deployed using custom Terraform Modules onto an On-Prem Openstack cluster.
- Created and maintained the system for generating VM images with the product installed for QA testing and Tech support.
- Deployed and managed Vault, Consul, and Nomad clusters for internal production use
- Member of the team that migrated the companies Product Development unit from Bitbucket to on-prem Gitlab and later from Gitlab to Github Enterprise
- Converted and rearchitected Gitlab pipelines to Github workflows
- Served as a company-wide SME for Gitlab/Github CI/CD Pipelines and provided support and workshops for developers
- Created and maintained several different CLI and Web API tools (primarily in Go) that were used by other production systems as well as product developers
